I know how to bake, but sometimes I get really lazy and buy cupcake mix. To make box cupcakes really yummy all you have to do is add extra ingredients.
Example: Carrot Cake
Add nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and grate two whole carrots into the mix. This makes a huge difference in the texture and taste! Also buy Cream Cheese frosting and Duncan Hines whipped Vanilla frosting. Mix about 3 tablespoons of whipped Vanilla into a cup of Cream Cheese frosting. I guarantee you the Frosting will taste soooo much better!
Example: White Cake with Pomegranate Cream Cheese Frosting!
Add a Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract to the cupcake mix.
To make frosting You will need
6 oz of Cream Cheese
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons of 100% Pomegranate Juice
Mix all the ingredients together with a mixer! Make sure it taste like pomegranate...you can always add more juice if it doesn't. Enjoy!
